ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! 100/10 recommend Island Life Photography. Our photographer, Rick, was amazing and very easy/comfortable to work with. He streamlined the pictures and organized us so we utilized every minute of the beautiful sunrise. We got all the photos we wanted and they all turned out spectacularly. They were available to us for download WAY sooner than any photographer I have ever worked with. We could not be happier with the outcome and will definitely be using Island Life again on our next family vacation.

We booked beach photos with Island Life HHI photography but shifted to marsh photos when the weather didn't cooperate. Joe did an amazing job taking pictures of our large, multigenerational group. He was great with the kids and helped everyone pose well. We were easily able to get all the different combinations of people we wanted. The experience was a lot of fun, the pictures are wonderful, and I was thrilled with the quality and the professionalism of the experience. I'm so glad we had these pictures taken.

Ashlee was wonderful and my 2YO son loved her. She was loud (necessary with 14 people) and helped to get all of the shots we wanted in a variety of settings. Haven't seen the photos yet, but looking forward to it! My only note would be that if you are looking for more of a candid shot just say something, otherwise the images may all be 'posed'. Would use ILHH again!

Overview

If you are looking for a photoshoot but don’t want that many photos or have kids or grandfathers that will not be able to handle a full shoot we now have our mini beach shoots. Get your photo taken on beautiful Hilton Head beach for up. to 15 minutes and get a private online gallery with 8-12 images from the shoot. You will be able to download the high-resolution digital images that include the print rights.

Things to know

Please keep in mind at the beach there will be wind, sand and water. We have no control over the natural environment of the location. Please dress for the beach location.
On an average night wind will be 8-12 mph. Please prepare your hair for possible windy conditions. If you are worried about wind, it is less windy at Sunrise or at one of our other Hilton Head locations.
If weather is an issue we will reach out to you, please keep in mind weather conditions change a lot on Hilton Head so we usually wait till closer to the shoot time to make a call.
If we need to cancel because of weather we will try and reschedule you, if we are not able to find a time that works for both of us you will receive a full refund.
We cannot do mini shoots at your location.
We do 2 mini shoots a night, back to back. If you schedule the first time slot it is recommended to do photos in the dunes and not down by the water as the sun could still be harsh at this time.

From the North end of the Island and Bluffton:
- Follow Hwy 278
- Turn left onto Folly Field Rd
- Folly Folly Field Beach Rd will turn into Starfish Dr, at the 90 degree turn Folly Field Beach Park will be right in front of you
From the South end of the Island:
- Follow Hwy 278
- Turn right onto Folly Field Rd
